They say good things come in threes and this is certainly the case for Yale which won ‘Best Security Product of the Year’ for the third time in a row at last night’s DIY Week Award Beating off stiff competition from Carl Kammerling International and Masterlock, it was Yale’s Keyless Smart Lock that triumphed.
The annual event, attended by leading industry figures and companies, celebrates excellence and innovation in the DIY and garden sector, and this year the Keyless smart lock was heralded as one of the DIY products of 2016.
We introduced the Yale Keyless Lock back in September, since then it has become our best selling lock. Part of the success is that it is available in three different versions allowing it to be used standard alone, with Yale alarm and CCTV systems or with Z-Wave systems. When it's used in a Z-Wave system it really flies - you can control it from a PIN, a Yale RF tag or card and wirelessly via Z-Wave using a smartphone or tablet. You can also create and change PIN numbers as well as user's authorisations - all from a browser anywhere you like.
