If you've been watching the Vesternet site you'll have seen a number of new Aeon device have been added over the last few days.
In fact Aeon have a flurry of new devices being released this summer and some other interesting ones planned for later in the year.
Aeon Summer 2015 Releases
Here's the full Aeon lineup for this summer, all of them are Z-Wave Plus (Gen5). And remember, Vesternet will have stock first - many of these devices are now open for pre-ordering, so make sure you book your order now to avoid disappointment.
USB Z-Stick Gen5
The USB Z-Stick Gen5 replaces the ever popular Aeon USB Z-Stick 2. It has all the same great features including a rechargeable battery so that you can move around your home to add Z-Wave devices to the system. It now features the Z-Wave 500 series (Gen5) chipset for improved range and performance. The USB Z-Stick Gen5 is available now in stock.
Aeon 6-in-1 MultiSensor Gen5
We expect the new Aeon 6-in-1 MultiSensor to be even more popular than the existing 4-in-1 MultiSensor. The new version is Z-Wave Plus and includes Motion, Temperature, Humidity, Light, Ultraviolet and Vibration sensors - all in a package that's 70% smaller than the old version. I'm not sure what you'd use the UV sensor for, but the tiny size and Z-Wave Plus functionality will make this new sensor sure-fire hit this summer. We will have the Aeon 6-in-1 MultiSensor Gen5 in stock during the first week of July.
Aeon RGBW LED
The Aeon RGBW LED allows you to control it via Z-Wave - changing colour and brightness wirelessly. The RGB LED features five colour channels - Red, Green, Blue, Warm White and Cool White. The first release will be E27 (Screw type), we are waiting for confirmation when the B22 (Bayonet) version will be available. The Aeon RGBW LED will be available first week of July.
Aeon Smart Switch 6
The Aeon Smart Switch 6 is the the new wall plug switch, allowing you to control an lamp or appliance (On or Off) and monitor its power usage. Currently Aeon are only releasing the European (Schuko) version, we're working with them to get a UK version available later this year. The Aeon Smart Switch 6 will be available first week of July.
Aeon Smart Dimmer 6
The >Aeon Smart Dimmer 6 isn't on the website yet as we're waiting confirmation about some details. The dimmer is very similar to the Smart Switch 6, but yeah you've guessed it, it allows you to dim the lamp. More information will be coming soon and we expect this to be available middle of July.
Aeon Garage Controller
Another new product, not yet on the website. This will allow wireless control of garage doors and will be fully Z-Wave Plus compliant. We'll have more information about when this is due to ship very soon.
Aeon have certainly been working hard to bring all these new products to market, they are one of the main vendors leading the Z-Wave Plus (Gen5) charge. We expect these new products to be incredibly popular as soon as they hit our shelves, so make sure you place your Pre Orders for the New Aeon Products quickly.
