For a while now, we've been looking at new suppliers for Audio-Visual products - for us this makes sense as we see home automation going hand-in-hand with multimedia. Many of our customers use home automation products alongside advanced audio-visual systems and many have home cinemas.
Yesterday, I had an interesting meeting with new HDMI specialist BluStream at their offices in Nottingham.
Blustream's focus is on HDMI distribution - HDBaseT, HDMI matrix and distribution and audio integration products. They have a really nice range of products, all of which offer high-quality at a lower price point than their competitors while offering more features. For instance all (and I do mean all) Blustream products are full 4K but at lower prices to the likes of Wyrestorm, HD Anywhere and CYP. You get an incredibly capable system with more features and in the case of the 4x4 HDBaseT matrix about £1,000 less than comparable products.

We've not played with these yet, but so far I really like the look of them and see a perfect place for them in the Vesternet range. We'll put them through their paces over the next few weeks and plane to released them before the end of March.
If you have any feedback, advise or questions just let me know - Feedback at Vesternet.
See you soon.
Mark.
