The Zipato guys have been super busy and are back with a bang!
A couple weeks ago a big package arrived at our labs, and ever since our test engineers have been checking out the latest devices from Zipato. There's some real cool stuff here, so even if you using another Z-Wave controller, it's all worth a look.
New Zipato Range
In addition to the existing Zipabox Z-Wave Controller, Zipato have added a power monitoring module and clamps, a RFID Reader and Keypad, a Z-Wave compatible RGBW LED bulb, a Tablet with Wall Station, a Security module, and a 3G USB Stick. All work perfectly with Zipato and some work with VERA and Fibaro controllers.
Zipato RFID Keypad
One of the missing devices in many Z-Wave systems is a simple keypad that can be used to arm & disarm an alarm system. The Zipato RFID Keypad is the perfect device. It has a four number keypad ideal for entering a PIN number and it works with RFID tags - entering your home was never easier. This works flawlessly with the Zipabox and can be used with VERA for PIN code entry or using just one RFID tag.
Power Module and Clamps
The Zipato Power Module uses clamps to measure instant power and accumulated power consumption, it can use up to four clamps to monitor four different circuits.
Z-Wave RGBW LED
The Zipato RGBW LED has five colour channels - the usual RGBW and a single White LED, so that you can also have pure white light. The LED is Z-Wave enabled so that it can be directly controlled from Zipabox.
Tablet with Wall Station
The Zipato Tablet and Wall Station is a complete Android tablet together with a magnetic wall mount that holds the tablet in place - it even includes a hidden charger so the tablet is always ready for action. This is ideal for sophisticated control of your Z-Wave system, it works with all Z-Wave controller apps (Android).
Security Module
The Zipato Security Module enables you to integrate your traditional wired alarm panel with your Z-Wave system. Lots of inputs and outputs enable the two systems to work seamlessly together.
3G USB Stick
The Zipato 3G USB Stick plugs into the Zipato Back-Up Module and allows the Zipabox to work even if you have no Internet connection or access. Great for back-up or even if you house doesn't have Internet.
