It's been a long wait, but the LightwaveRF heating products have finally been released and will be with Vesternet in the next few days.
The new LightwaveRF heating products enable you to control your boiler and radiators, easily creating a convenient multi-zoned heating system in any house.
The line up includes:
- LightwaveRF Boiler Controller
- LightwaveRF House Thermostat
- LightwaveRF Radiator Thermostat (TRV)
- LightwaveRF Heating Remote Control
LightwaveRF Boiler Switch
This is the core product, enabling you to control your boiler's heating channel. It's a simple product, just giving On/Off control of your boiler, but it's the key thing that puts you in control of your heating - whether your at home or away. This is a single channel boiler switch, so only controls the heating part of your boiler, but as combi boilers are becoming the norm in the UK, this should be a perfect fit. And if you don't have a Combi, we'll soon have a bunch of guides to show how to wire it into your heating system.
Once installed you can control the boiler manually or from a smartphone via the LightwaveRF Link Controller.
House Thermostat
The LightwaveRF Thermostat is battery-powered and can be positioned anywhere in your home. It can be programmed (manually or from the phone app) with all the schedules and temperatures that you'd like your heating to be throughout the week. It even has holiday and frost modes so that looks after your heating if you're away for a while.
Radiator Thermostat (TRV)
The LightwaveRF TRV finishes off the system, giving you control of individual radiators. And, just like the House Thermostat, each TRV can be individually programmed so they work just how you want them to. This enables you to easily implement a Zoned heating system with minimum fuss and mess.
Availability
Vesternet have the first batch of LightwaveRF Heating products arriving the middle of next week - just in time to get installed before winter comes.
We'll also be putting it through it's paces and creating guides to make it as easy as possible for you to use.
